What is rot front?

Rot Front is a socialist political organization and a consumer cooperative movement that originated in Germany in 1920s. It later spread to many countries including Russia, where it became a mass movement with millions of members. The name "Rot Front" translates to "Red Front" in English and it symbolizes the left-wing ideology of the movement.

The Rot Front aimed to unite workers and peasants in the struggle for socialism. It promoted the principles of collective ownership, worker control, social justice and equality and fought against imperialist aggression, fascism, and terrorism. The movement also organized schools, sports clubs, cultural and social events, and various cultural publications to promote Marxist and leftist values.

During the Soviet era, the Rot Front cooperatives played an important role in providing inexpensive goods and services to Soviet citizens. After the fall of socialism in the Soviet Union, the organization faced significant challenges, but it still exists in some countries, including Germany, France, and Russia.

Today, the Rot Front continues to promote socialist ideals and stands for human rights, equality, and democracy. Its activities include organizing rallies, demonstrations, and social and cultural events to raise awareness of social issues and build solidarity among people.
